The electric bass guitars I bought.
(I prefer to buy cheap ones, everything I don't like I can modify, the expensive basses I can build myself)

Steinberger Spirit XT-25
Made a thumb rest and replaced the tone control with a EMG BTC Control preamp.

Warwick Rockbass Corvette
Put a Warwick two piece bridge on it and put in BassTec preamp.

Ibanez SR300
Alligned and shimmed the neck. Reversed the rotation direction of the pots, needed to do this to most of my bought basses.
Do manufacturers think us leftys are retarded or something and do 'everything' the wrong way round?

Ibanez ATK (PGBL1)
The truss rod snapped on me, fixed it.

OLP MM2
Replaced the pickup with a Seymour Duncan SMB-4a, did a propper shielding job, added a SGD 2-band preamp and a series/paralel switch.

Vintage LEST96
Reshaped the ugly headstock, made a new pickguard, replaced the pickup and electronics with a Seymour Duncan SMB-4ds set
and added a series/paralel switch. Defretted it right after I bought it, and now a few years later - refretted it and put on a new bridge.

Squier Precision Bass
Done a propper shielding and grounding job on this one, put on a Hipshot bridge and made a new pickguard.

Squier VM Jazz Bass
Changed the neck with my other VM and de fretted it, made a new pickguard, put on a Hipshot bridge, rewired to volume-balance-tone.

Squier VM Jazz Bass
With the neck of my other VM, put in Hanson Chi-Sonic pickups, rewired to volume-balance-tone,
made a new pickguard and put on a Hipshot bridge.

Richwood Jocker Pro
Done a propper shielding job, rewired to volume-balance-tone, put on a Hipshot bridge and made a new pickguard,
alligned and shimmed the neck.

Rockinbetter RG4001
Made a pickup ring for the bridge pickup to cover up the hole that was visible after removing the pickup cover,
did a propper wiring and shielding job.

Höfner Ignition
Made a thumb rest, a new pickguard and control panel, rewired to volume-balance-tone.

Westone Thunder I
My first serious bass, modified the crap out of it over the years.

And a guitar

Squier Affinity Tele
Did a propper grounding and shielding job, also shimmed the neck.
